Tanjiro’s recovery finally starts showing results as Zenitsu and Inosuke manage to master Total Concentration Constant. A new Nichirin Sword also arrives for Tanjiro, although its delivery comes with an angry visit from the swordsmith who is still furious about the previous blade being broken.

But the mood changes completely when the story turns toward the demons. In Demon Slayer Manga Chapter 51, Muzan gathers the remaining Lower Ranks and makes it clear that he is not satisfied with their failures. With Rui already dead, the demons quickly realize that their own lives may be in danger, creating a much darker picture of the world Tanjiro is about to face.
